European Portuguese Group Classes
The group language classes are designed to strengthen your European Portuguese skills through speaking, writing, and comprehension activities. You’ll also gain valuable insights into Portuguese culture, while Susana—the teacher—uses innovative methods to help you build both your language skills and confidence. With full immersion from day one and a communicative, task-based approach, you’ll acquire the knowledge you need to fully embrace the Portuguese world!
Course Levels:
- Beginner Portuguese – Are you ready to kick-start your Portuguese education? Learn to introduce yourself, talk to your new neighbors, describe your personal preferences, and much more!
- Portuguese A1 – Develop your conversational and communication skills through role-playing and other speaking activities. Beginner Portuguese A is a prerequisite for this course.
- Practice A1+ – Designed for students who have completed A1, this course strengthens basic communication skills while building greater fluency and accuracy. Learners will expand vocabulary, practice everyday interactions, and gain confidence to move toward the A2 level.
- Portuguese A2 – Build upon the basic foundation provided by portuguese A1 and A1+. In this course, you will further develop your linguistic competency in comprehension, writing, and oral communication. Portuguese A1+ is a prerequisite.
- Practice Portuguese A2+ – This course completes level 2 of language proficiency and emphasizes improving oral comprehension and creative expression through role-playing and other activities. Portuguese A2 is a prerequisite for this practicecourse.
- Intermediate Portuguese B1
Ideal for learners who have completed A2 and are ready to move beyond basic communication. This course focuses on strengthening listening and speaking skills in real-life situations, while also expanding vocabulary and grammar for more complex interactions. By the end, students will be able to express opinions, narrate past events, and engage in everyday conversations with greater confidence. - Intermediate Portuguese B1+
Designed for students who have completed B1, this course consolidates intermediate skills and introduces more advanced and precise language use. Learners practice fluid conversation, refine grammar accuracy, and work with authentic materials such as articles and short stories. Students will gain the ability to discuss abstract topics, support arguments, and interact comfortably in social and professional contexts. - CIPLE Exam Preparation Group Course (A2) – This is an intensive class to prepare for the CIPLE exam for portuguese nationality or permanent residence.
