The Manoel de Oliveira Cinema House, inaugurated in June 2019, is a new space that besides a permanent exhibition, a documentation center and regular cinema sessions, allows regular access to the work of one of the great names of Portuguese cinema. For the time being, you will only be able to visit a room with some of the international awards Manoel de Oliveira has won during his career, as well as an interactive videowall with access to a global trip through the director’s work.<\/p>\n
We move to the exhibition of one of the greatest Portuguese artists, which needs no presentation: Paula Rego. The nucleus of the artist’s works in the Serralves collection, made between 1975 and 2004, is the starting point for \u201cThe Cry of Imagination\u201d, a monographic exhibition marking Paula Rego’s return to Serralves after the 1998 and 2004 exhibitions.
