Mostly I have students from 4 nationalities &#8211; Palestinian, Syrian, Lebanese and Indians. 12 students already have the CIPLE Certificate (Initial Certificate of Portuguese as a Foreign Language) &#8211; level A2, and one has the DIPLE Certificate (Intermediate Diploma of Portuguese as a Foreign Language) &#8211; Level B2.<\/p>\n<p>For those unfamiliar with the terms, CIPLE attests to a basic general ability to interact in a limited number of daily communication situations, with a very basic level of Portuguese.<\/p>\n<p>DIPLE already allows for a more advanced level of language, allowing them to integrate into a workplace, including the attendance of academic courses.<\/p>\n<p>My students are all adults between 30 and 65 years old, with very active working lives, traveling a lot, and who are always learning Portuguese with great commitment and dedication. The preparation is demanding and methodical, always with a permanent state of doubt: &#8220;will I succeed?&#8221;. Everyone goes through the moment of panic when they hear the words: Caple&#8217;s oral exam. Since its an audio file, the voice from the exam speaks quite fast, sometimes using background noises to make it harder to understand. The students get a bit nervous, afraid not to understand what is said.<\/p>\n<p>The interview also gives them some &#8220;tummy aches&#8221; because it\u2019s not easy to predict what they will ask, but in the end they always shine.<\/p>\n<p>My students have already taken the exams in Lisbon, Seville and London. Right now, I have 20 students in preparation for the international CIPLE of November 2019 and April 2020, which will take the exams in Lisbon, London, Macau, Shanghai and Ankara.<\/p>\n<p>All students who have already did the exams or are preparing to do so, don\u2019t live in Portugal and I\u2019m their only connection to the Portuguese language.<\/p>\n<p>I must be very proud of their commitment and the good results they have achieved so far.<\/p>\n<p>Makes me want to do more and better, for their dream, for a purpose, for my students!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>CIPLE\/DIPLE, a realiza\u00e7\u00e3o de um sonho!<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Uma pergunta que me fazem muitas vezes \u00e9: qual \u00e9 a nacionalidade dos teus alunos? Maioritariamente tenho alunos de 4 nacionalidades \u2013 Palestinianos, S\u00edrios, Libaneses e Indianos. 12 alunos j\u00e1 t\u00eam o Certificado CIPLE (Certificado Inicial de Portugu\u00eas L\u00edngua Estrangeira) \u2013 n\u00edvel A2, e um deles j\u00e1 tem o Certificado DIPLE (Diploma Interm\u00e9dio de Portugu\u00eas L\u00edngua Estrangeira) \u2013 N\u00edvel B2.<br \/>\n<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Para quem n\u00e3o est\u00e1 familiarizado com os termos, o CIPLE atesta uma capacidade geral para interagir num n\u00famero limitado de situa\u00e7\u00f5es de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o do quotidiano, com um n\u00edvel b\u00e1sico de portugu\u00eas.<br \/>\nO DIPLE j\u00e1 permite um n\u00edvel mais avan\u00e7ado da l\u00edngua, o que lhes permite a integra\u00e7\u00e3o em contexto de trabalho, inclusive a frequ\u00eancia de cursos acad\u00e9micos.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Os meus alunos s\u00e3o todos adultos com idades compreendidas entre os 30 e os 65 anos, com vidas profissionais muito ativas, que viajam muito, e que encaram a aprendizagem do portugu\u00eas sempre com grande compromisso, dedica\u00e7\u00e3o e empenho. O plano de prepara\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 exigente e met\u00f3dico, sempre com um estado permanente de d\u00favida: \u201cser\u00e1 que vou conseguir?\u201d. Todos passam pelo momento de p\u00e2nico, quando ouvem as palavras PROVA ORAL do Caple. Sendo uma prova com \u00e1udio, a voz do exame por vezes fala bastante r\u00e1pido, utilizando ru\u00eddos de fundo, para dificultar a compreens\u00e3o. Os alunos ficam com \u201cnervoso miudinho\u201d, com receio de n\u00e3o perceberem aquilo que \u00e9 dito.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>A entrevista tamb\u00e9m lhes d\u00e1 algumas \u201cdores de barriga\u201d, porque n\u00e3o \u00e9 f\u00e1cil prever o que v\u00e3o perguntar, mas no final, acabam sempre por brilhar.<\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><em>Os meus alunos j\u00e1 fizeram os exames em Lisboa, Sevilha e Londres.
